about

I penciled this one down while I was in Wales last year. Finally finished it.

lyrics

I leave the house, a refugee from my own brain
Hop over a fence, ramble down a winding lane
Force myself not to think, trespass onto unknown land
Far below the hill, the people walk on the sand.

And I breath, and I walk
And I sit, my legs ache.
But I feel good
I don't worry
If I'm making A mistake

A fly whips past, the world seems quiet up here
High on a hill, away from panic and fear
Pencil thoughts and songs in my little brown book
Don't look back, but remember the path I took

And I stretch, and I walk
Find a bush, so I can pee
Cos I feel good
I don't worry
Up here I feel free

And I don't even check if the signal reaches here
My mind feels fresh and free
Everything is working, so clear of interference
I just know how to be.

And I sit, and I sneeze
Throw my gaze, out to sea
And I feel just like
The one I want to be
