about

The bridge of this song is based around the weirdest metaphor I've ever come up with.

I was thinking about how some very complex fighter planes are intentionally designed to be unstable so it would be impossible for a human being to fly them without the help of the onboard computer.

When I sat down to write a song, I still had the idea in the back of my mind, and somehow, I realised I could relate to it.

lyrics

I may have found some feet to stand on
And I may have made, a vague semblance of a plan.
And I may have found a couple of ways, to keep my mind getting totally out of hand.
And I may have found a couple of ways, to turn my thoughts into some simple songs.
But if you think I have any idea who I am now,
I'm sorry, but you're wrong.

I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm not afraid to admit that anymore.

I have met a lot of people lately,
Some of them I like, and some of them I hate their guts
And some of these people know me
Some of them like me, and all of them think I'm slightly strange.
And sometimes I think I've found an answer to a question in my mind.
But it always comes up short, when I dig a little deeper, I always seem to find,

I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm not afraid to admit that anymore...

And I was built, for unstable flight. x3
I'm not meant, to settle down inside.

I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm not afraid to admit that anymore. (Repeat Ad Infinitum)
